Caregiver Qualifications

Essential Skills and Credentials for Trusted Childcare & Senior care

Our caregivers meet strict criteria including being at least 18 years old, holding a high school diploma or GED, and having prior caregiving experience. They maintain a clean driving record, possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and pass thorough background checks to ensure family safety.

Certified in CPR and First Aid or willing to obtain certification, our caregivers bring strong communication skills and professionalism. They understand development stages and create safe, engaging environments tailored to infants, toddlers, school-aged children & seniors. Dependability and excellent references from previous families are standard.

Preferred qualifications include specialized education in Early Childhood or related fields, newborn care certification, and experience with special needs or multiple children, & senior care. Bilingual abilities and lifeguard certification add extra value. Our caregivers can also assist with homework, laundry, prepare light meals, drive to activitites/appointments, and respect family privacy while adapting to varied schedules.
